I have had a complex for decades. I have never been satisfied with the design work I do. Whether that's creating a cover for a Kindle book, designing a digital product to sell or almost anything else.
I considered taking graphic design classes a few times, but they were always long, drawn-out courses that would have taken me months and - at that point - I didn’t have the time.
So, I was thrilled when I saw that Jessa Bellman launched The Design Club for just $7 US per month.
Before I continue, let me clarify that Jessa also has two societies for digital product creators in addition to The Design Club.
- Template Creators Society is for digital product creators who want to create their own unique products to sell using templates, clipart, advice, etc. All of these are provided in TCS. Available to new members at any time.
- Passive Income Society is for people who want to create digital products, but also need help with the backend of Etsy (SEO, ads, sales strategies, etc.). Template Creators Society, Course Creators Society, Affiliate Income Society and many of Jessa’s trainings are included in Passive Income Society. PIS is more interactive with live coaching calls, weekly coworking calls, social nights, etc. Only open for new members a few times a year.
What do you get in The Design Club?
Ongoing Digital Product Design Training
Every week, at least one digital product training is added to The Design Club. Jessa teaches through very targeted videos showing you exactly how to make that week’s featured product. There’s no pressure. Go at your own pace.
I love Jessa’s teaching style. She is extremely informative, organized, logical, and Australian! (I love her accent)
She is also concise. Yes, she covers every single step in plenty of detail. But it doesn't take her three hours to show you how to make these digital products. She knows all the shortcuts, so her videos are somewhere between 27 minutes and one hour.
It will not take you days or weeks to master how to create these popular digital products. You can finish the video in one sitting and start creating products to sell immediately.
The Facebook group is where you will go if you have questions. It is extremely active with design designers on every level. The group administrators and the members are super-helpful. I have always gotten a reply from someone within five to 30 minutes.
What Product Training is Included?
Keep in mind that new digital product training is being added every week. But on the day I wrote this review, these were the digital products available.
- Finger puppets
- Activity suitcase
- Wedding website
- Sketchy planners
- Pinned posts
- Mini folios
- Invites that move
- Fussy cuts
- Dreamy desktop
- Corporate invitations
- Born in the year game
Many of these mini-courses are available for $9 each if purchased separately. That’s a value of $99 (today anyway). For just $7/month, you get all the current and future training. Instead of buying four product trainings per month for $36 ($9 x 4), you pay only $7/month and get them all!
Bonuses & Resources Included
Each project kit includes something a little different, depending on what exactly the digital product is. Each one has video training, a bonus, commercial-use resources and other necessities to make that product. Here are some examples:

Who is Jessa Bellman?
After years of trying to find success on Etsy as a digital product seller, Jessa had her first child and her first breakthrough. All the trial by fire finally paid off and - as her family grew - so did her business.
After more than 8 years, she’s sold over 180,000 products and is a top 1% Etsy seller.
Don’t you want to learn from someone who makes a sale about every 12 minutes?
Is The Design Club Worth the Cost?
If you add up all the existing training, you get $99. That doesn’t include the bonus trainings, Facebook group access, clipart packs, etc. that are included for you free. My estimate would be over $299. And that value will grow every week.
That’s 42 months at only $7/month.
My Experience Going Through The Design Club
The platform is well organized, and I easily found my way around to get everything promised on the sales page.
Members and admins are all active in the Facebook group, and I have gotten answers to my questions within a very reasonable amount of time. Some took longer if they required an admin to answer (US time vs. Australian time).
At this time, The Design Club is brand new. Only been open a few weeks, so all the videos are new and up-to-date. The products have been researched and are popular sellers on Etsy and elsewhere.
All the products are created in Canva, and some of the techniques require Canva Pro access, but not all.
What I Wish Was Better
Just as I said in my review of Jessa’s Template Creators Society, the only thing I think could be better is Jessa’s presence. She does teach all of the video sessions.
I would like to see more of her.
Still, I will enthusiastically tell you that I am thrilled with my decision to become a member. In fact, I chose to get the one-payment lifetime offer instead of the $7/month. You know… save some money in the long run.Have questions about Jessa Bellman’s Design Club? Talk to me below!
