Great points Karen..I still receive visitors from articles I wrote years ago and submitted to EzineArticles. After EA got hit by the Penguin update I changed my strategy a little by repurposing my posts into videos adding the content to social media properties. It seems to be working though I need to improve my writing…so thank goodness for your copywriting course I’m currently working my way through.

I agree 100%. I think Google is working to clean-out the crap. SEO is still the same as ever – but if everyone is doing SEO the same; then then it’s become the norm/common – when that happens, no-one stands out, so Google doesn’t have a choice.
Re: article marketing; it still works – if it’s of valuable quality! If it’s a whole of rubbish re-spun a million times, and placed all other the net – well that’s just a rubbish tip!… and nobody wants rubbish.
